Saturday proved a very long day up through the many hills of Cornwall. We arrived at our hotel after 9pm, and by the time we'd eaten, had little energy left to blog.
More later...
This summer, from 17 to 28 June 2011, a team of four of us are cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats to raise funds for the Save the Children Japan Appeal.
Wow guys well done! You're really on the way now. I was following your progresss through the day, thats a great GPS tracker app. So much easier from a computer than in the saddle!
ReplyDeleteThat must have been a super tough first full day - you set yourselves a very stiff challenge - very impressive, you have tremendous stamina.
Enjoy the down hill bits today and best of luck for the rest of the ride.

Well done chaps - you have had a tough time so far and the weather doesn't seem to have been particularly kind - but fantastic. Lets hope you have it slightly easier on Sunday... Great to be able to see where you are and how you are getting on - keep peddling. :-)xxx

Don't worry Alastair, the first eleven days are the worst.

Frank & Sharon.
Well done so far

Chin up boys, keep those spirits high & the banter going! Load up on lots of food, you'll need the energy & never get a chance to eat 10 Mars bars in 1 day without gaining a gut :)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to all the updates & keep the snaps coming!!
Aaron.
